How to access cable channels or I'm only getting channels 5 - 13, I'm not getting channels 14 on up?
  1. hook up cable from outlet to tv
  2. plug in power cord on tv
  3. use tv remote to access menu on tv, and switch tuner to cable (CATV - STD) , not off-air!

How to access high speed i-net with customer owned equipment?

  1. Call our 800 number to setup service, you will need to give the operator your cable modem "HFC MAC address number" which is available on the bottom of your cable modem.  DSL modems will not work!
  2. Connect a short rg-6 tv cable jumper from outlet to modem.
  3. Connect a cat-5 cable from modem to computer or you may also use a USB cable.  OR,  if you are using a router, connect a cat5 cable from the modem to the router's WAN input (which is usally seperate from the other ports). then connect other cat5 cables to your computers from the router. If using a wireless router, you will need to follow the directions that came with the router and be sure to secure your wireless router to protect your computers information!
  4. Turn on the cable modem and wait about 2 mins., then turn on router(if you have one) and finally turn on your computer.
  5. Enjoy high speed internet service!

Are you experiencing internet service disruptions?

  1. always power off all equipment for 1 minute
  2. then turn on the cable modem first and wait 2 mins
  3. then power up the router and wait another 1 min
  4. then power up computer and this will usally restore service!
